this might sound dumb of me but I am fairly new to firearms but that doesnt make me any less of a patriot...i was wondering if there might be anyone that knows of any firearms instructors around Peoria?

Try Wolf Hollow Archery, Cooper. Even though they are an archery range, they should be able to point you in the right direction.
They are located in the Rome/Chillicothe area.

there is an indoor range here in peoria...i think im just gonna take my AR-15 down there and just start putting rounds down range...its probably better than goin on a hunt for an instructor who will probably just say go to a range and practice...but learning the basics would be a nice starting block.

My name is Charles.I am from central Illinois. I now reside in Southern Illinois.I am a computer design and software developer with a degree in physical therapy.I like to bow hunt. I have guide and instructor experience. I have worked for several years as a guide and instructor in the Rocky mountains and west coast as a ski instructor. I am looking for more information with regards to joining a chapter of Watchmen in my region.

you can start by going to the main watchmen of america website and becoming a member...then we need to start an actual group in illinois....or atleast get this one registered with the actual watchmen of america because as of right now its not
